My husband and I decided to take advantage of the Energy Upgrade California program and had Wes and 2 other contractors come out for estimates. We were impressed in that Wes truly listened to our needs and was extremely professional.

After having the energy audit completed, he sat down with us to help us understand how we could best improve the comfort and efficiency of our home. He patiently answered all of our questions and provided us with an estimate that addressed the aspects of work we were considering having completed.

Wes was HONEST in that he told us what things he felt wouldn't be beneficial for us, given our situation and budget. He also assured us that our house did not need to be rewired, contrary to what we both thought.

We ultimately decided to have our floor furnace removed and had a central heating/cooling system installed as well as new windows; insulation in the attic, walls and crawl space and installation of a tankless water heater. We also had the attic air sealed, installed a hood vent in the kitchen and exhaust fan in the bathroom.

Wes handled all of the rebate paperwork and stayed on top of making sure he met all of the program deadlines, without us ever having to remind him even once!! We would often get CC'd on emails from the Energy Upgrade program administrator requesting specific information only to receive an email the very next day acknowledging having received that information. They had estimated an energy efficiency of 35%. The final audit showed an increase in energy efficiency by a whopping 43%!!!! We now also have a Green Home certification, which is a great selling point, should we decide to move.

All in all, they met our expectations of what a contractor should be and are extremely satisfied with everything we had done. We have referred several people and will definitely look to them when we are ready to have our bathroom and kitchen remodeled.
